Finalizers
Finalizers delay deletion until a controller finishes cleanup. For example, a persistent volume claim (PVC) can refer to a persistent volume (PV); Kubernetes keeps the claim long enough for its controller to release the underlying storage before removing it. A pod is one or more containers scheduled together. https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/overview/working-with-objects/finalizers/
EX: This could be related to some PVC/PV being in terminating state since PODs are still using them. This is caused by pv-protection finalizer that won't let PV be deleted if someone is using it
