Utilization

Queue utilization measures how much of a server's capacity incoming work consumes. It is commonly written as the Greek letter rho, ρ\rho.

For example, ρ=0.8\rho = 0.8 means the server is busy about 80 percent of the time. At or above 1, work arrives at least as fast as it can be served.
